History: Gifted from a young age, Eloise studied abroad. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
