History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tailor.

She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. A gifted student she started as a Architect, but she got bored and became a Barber. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Barber and occasionally as a mercenary.
