History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Ielenia will drive conversation. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born into a rich family. She married young, but lost her spouse to giants. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is an amazing painter.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Fallond was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dragonborns.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Merchant.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tabaxi people; and she is greedy

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When Nelkin reached his early adolescence his Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: Kipper is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born to a Butcher, his father struggled to pay the bills. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to illithids.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

History: He comes from a rich western family. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable
