History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Bathin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Miner. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miner.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom
