History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Clerebold took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Zephan was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Dyer. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest, and is pretty ugly. His blue crest is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: Medrash is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Description: He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with brown colored cloaks and clothing. He carries with him a set of swords on his belt, each one with a amber on the hilt. His orange fur is still thick. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. Being a Spice Merchant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
