Personality: Makaria wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Makaria alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Anakis decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
