Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ulla embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She is a great chef.

History: Ulla was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: This southern woman is abnormally tall. She tends to wear a red poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. She has no hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her first spouse was a Merchant, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: To be a Merchant again; and to unite with her brother

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, she wears dark leathers with embroidery. Her hair is short and blonde. She has a dull look in her gray eyes.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Grigi grew up listening to her mother's many stories. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears a violet Stetson hat and violet clothes. She has slicked back white hair. Her eyes are likewise violet. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She got into the Spy business at a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Althaea grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Althaea. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.

Description: He wears a red cloak and cross-gartered black stockings, and carries greataxes. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. She wears her red crest down. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To protect her home; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is dressed in a clean black cloak covering his clean studded leather. He keeps his gold crest in a pixie cut. His eyes are likewise red. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His childhood dream was to be a Shepherd, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Architect for the past few years.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
