History: Matilda was born with her mother's beautiful face. She worked as a nervous Map Maker and found it very stressful. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born in a small desert village. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Bathin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Bathin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got money to start a business from the gang present in town. He is greatly indebted to them.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs
