Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and many goblins want her driven away

Personality: Arjhan hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dragonborns.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: This malnourished man wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His hair is white and curly. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 6'1" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She is wearing a long, black cloak. Her crest, while still mostly bronze, has prominent grey streaks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Biri embodies much of what other species detest in the Dragonborns. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Ruler. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: She was born in a small island village. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: Born in the west to a Jeweler, Trym learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Jeweler and found it very stressful. She has achieved small success as a Jeweler.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to prove her worth to the world
