History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nalaed grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nalaed. After a long history of fighting, Nalaed and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Purban embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Through the years after Purban was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Purban's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hammer.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Valafar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Laborer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Dyer.
