History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shanairla grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shanairla. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and she will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Bricklayer.

Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He takes great joy in being the best Shoemaker in town.

History: Gifted from a young age, Jade studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
