Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His first spouse was a Bather, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Dell lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She then took over the family business and is one of the better Masseuse for hire.

Motivation: To be a Marshal again; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Bethrynna never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bather born in the past three hundred years. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bather work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bather work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Bather.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and further expansion of business

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She is a great chef.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Laborer. Being a Laborer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
