Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Kristryd was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and a deep hatred of brigands

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears bulky grey painted plate armor. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears a tight fitting grey shirt and pants. His auburn hair is still thick. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Adelard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When Adelard reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is obsessed with her god.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Urshar was born on a far western mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Junk Dealer. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Urshar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: He is a Guard first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Lance was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Lance decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
