History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Puyet alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Hunter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Three was a troubled youth.
