History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mayor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: Valanthe was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Roywyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Merchant arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
