Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'1" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He keeps his red hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He feeds upon the attention of others.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Being a Healer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Elves. His skin is dark but he possesses many blue ritualistic tattoos. He prefers to wear tan clothing when he does not wear armor. His white hair, when down, is lengthy. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, and he perpetually has his shortspear ready. His brown hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: The child of a Stableman, who enjoyed hunting, Traubon was taken on many hunting expeditions. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. She is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around her ears. Her eyes are green.
Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Nedda was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Through the years after Nedda was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nedda's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to clean up the streets

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Virra grew up listening to her father's many stories. When Virra reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears an entirely white suit with green socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His hair is long and red with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. He has violet eyes and a white hat with a green feather.
Personality: He is a Interpreter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Interpreter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Interpreter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Adventurer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats
