He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dariff grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
