He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: The child of a Adventurer, who enjoyed hunting, Norman was taken on many hunting expeditions. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a Layabout soon after.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she loathes her own lifestyle

History: Snafû was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Robert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is a great chef.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often
