History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Serpent's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Serpent's homeland. Serpent decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Nija alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has worked as a Seamstress like her father before her.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Melech was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
