History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Kali was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kali's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Kali and her spouse have recently divorced.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: The child of a Apothecary, who enjoyed hunting, Jade was taken on many hunting expeditions. Jade abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bookbinder but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

The war was a terrible time for her, and Edge does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tabaxi conditions. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
