She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Keyleth and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born to a Interpreter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He tends to his Gardener job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he wants to get laid

History: Kite was born the youngest of three triplets. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Xanaphia was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Xanaphia's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When Kiirith reached his early adolescence his Dragonborn mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Kiirith and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Merihim hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.
