Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Birel embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. After a long history of fighting, Birel and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Halfling culture. Helja enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Helja hails from a village terrorized by giants. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Helja was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

Personality: Abalaba hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her music career. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Traubon is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. He has achieved small success as a Mortician.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: She was born in the south. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. She tends to her Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and balancing her hectic life and new painter responsibilities is difficult
