History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. The war was a terrible time for her, and Roywyn does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When Roywyn reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Shepherd. He has worked as a Shepherd like his mother before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult.

History: Egelina was born the youngest of three triplets. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and a strong sense of loyalty to gnomish people

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
