Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Jarana was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Map Maker they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Detective, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. River was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.
