History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Paela was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She takes great joy in being the best Ruler in town.

History: She got into the Ruler business at a young age. She worked as a nervous Ruler and found it very stressful. She now owns her own business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oren grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Oren was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
