His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Barrister profession.

History: He got into the Jeweler business at a young age. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Jeweler responsibilities is difficult; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Flame was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Sellsword and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Tanner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
