History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Valafar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Artin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Sage profession.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sage they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Banker, and he later adopted a second son.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bricklayer. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Moon was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Guard. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.
