History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Astaro was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Beggar work with an outfit from a few towns over. Beggar work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Torinn was born with his mother's beautiful face. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Torinn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mortician responsibilities is difficult.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Performer mother left her crippled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

She wears a deerstalker hat to cover her moderate length black fur. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady green eyes.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Bounty Hunter born in the past three hundred years. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Mumpena isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is greedy

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Tanner. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and to be a miller again

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she desires power and/or immortality
