Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she has the majority of her body covered in plate. She has shaved her head bald. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is a Carter first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: This man wears tattered old clothes, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He keeps his gray fur in a flapper bob. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: She is a mite stocky and tends to wear a large tan jacket. Her long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: Anastrianna was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Brewer for the past few years.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: 5'4" and muscular, this northern man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has a silver handlebar mustache and slicked back silver hair. His eyes are hazel.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Navigator work with an outfit from a few towns over. Navigator work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Navigator soon after.

Motivation: To be a Shoemaker again.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a worn and beaten armor. His crest is copper and curly. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are red.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Norkruuth grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Norkruuth never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His childhood dream was to be a Carter, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: Born in the north to a Mortician, Naill learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up work as a Mortician and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is unsatisfied with his job
