History: Born in the south to a Scribe, Altho learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mumpena was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Map Maker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has never given up on his music dream.

History: She got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. Through the years after Ielenia was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ielenia's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
