History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the north were limited. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Herbalist, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Doctor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Drifting was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Arha is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She got into the Merchant business at a young age. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She now owns her own business.

History: Gifted from a young age, Euron studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Euron took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears suspenders and white workpants. Her shirt is pastel, and she wears a heavy white leather apron most of the time, and is pretty ugly. Her auburn hair is still thick. Her hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her blonde hair, when down, is lengthy. Her violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Vanchu was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Recently the stress of being a Knight has made it difficult for her to sleep.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and many dire rats want her driven away

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Hugolina reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
