History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thoradin grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Matilda fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Bryseis has worked very hard to control her curse. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Spy who has hired her part-time. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting illithids, the young Surina began to lead the lost caravan. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is her passion; and she wants revenge against illithids

History: She was born in a small forest village. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.
