History: Born in the west to a Scribe, Silvo learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Silvo grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Silvo. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gesrethe studied abroad. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Servant.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes goblins are coming to abduct people. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Carter, but he was a colossal failure. He struck the Bookbinder job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Baggi was born on a far southern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Merchant. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
