History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Spear was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hlin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned woman, she is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by her earthly robes.. Her long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for her, and Katherine does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. When Katherine reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Harvest was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Harvest decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He tends to his Junk Dealer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mortician. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Rosamund was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.
