History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Fortune-teller for hire.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Shifting was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Silent has worked very hard to control his curse. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
