History: Kaladan was born with his mother's beautiful face. Through the years after Kaladan was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kaladan's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance.
