History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Calcitro liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gifted student she started as a Marshal, but she got bored and became a Bookbinder. She became a Bookbinder soon after.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Through the years after Osah was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Osah's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
