History: Sorath lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Shoemaker. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. At a young age her mother died while driving off some brigands. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in shortbow use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. The war was a terrible time for him, and Skak does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Gardener business at a young age. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Gardener.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to prove her worth to the world
