History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. She wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her hair is blonde and curly. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are brown.
Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.
Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

Description: He prefers to wear tan clothing when he does not wear armor, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'9" when asserting himself. His red hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: Born in the south to a Mortician, Riardon learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and money/treasure

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: Ulblyn is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ulblyn is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: This man is very fat, and has the majority of his body covered in plate. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: He comes from a rich western family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and he wants revenge against illithids

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: Born in the north to a Miller, Gilthur learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miller for the past few years.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He struck the Map Maker job and began his own company from there.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Phelaia lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Phelaia began to lead the lost caravan.
