Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ortegar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the north to a Body Guard, Andraste learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Menny was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Nogu abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and her religion dominates her actions

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shautha grew up listening to her father's many stories. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bellfounder. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.
