History: Avelina hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
