Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a grey costume with the symbols of magic on her torso. She wears a broad hat to hide her balding. She has gray eyes.
Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Ruler born in the past three hundred years. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Oriel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Oriel took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scimitar and armor she uses now. She struck the Ruler job and began her own company from there.
Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is afraid of men and trembles around them
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a fancy grey suit. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Einkil grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Einkil. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: Born to a Seamstress, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lilli fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She feels threatened by others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Herbalist work with an outfit from a few towns over. Herbalist work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.
History: Falkrunn was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She tends to her Armorer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Courier they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Stableman, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
