He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Thamior alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. The war was a terrible time for her, and Windy does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Windy was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has achieved small success as a Mercenary.

History: Born to a Bellfounder, his father struggled to pay the bills. He worked as a nervous Sellsword and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Sellsword like his father before him.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. Hrathy is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Hrathy abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
