His amber eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker brown hat.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He accessorizes with a black scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His red hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Servant but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Born in the south to a Ruler, Tordek learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is a great chef.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son.
