History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Cockaby was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Oppleby fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
