History: Urshar was born the youngest of three triplets. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Urshar took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor she uses now. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. Emerald enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He worked as a nervous Barkeep and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Barkeep for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and seeks redemption

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Miller arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Miller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miller work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has worked as a Miller like her mother before her.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Being a Bowyer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Harann was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Harann decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Laborer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety.
