History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Thomas was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Cartwright. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Fibblestib grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Frug was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. She wears a colorful flower in her brown hair. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and retire the richest woman in the north

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Peren lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: She wears a blue cloak and cross-gartered white stockings. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born in the south to a Spice Merchant, Birel learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Spice Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spice Merchant work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Spice Merchant for hire.

History: Trynnicus was born with his mother's beautiful face. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
