The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During his travels, Thomas and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Thomas discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Thomas fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roland grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Glim grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Glim. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Fax was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bookbinder. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. After a long history of fighting, River and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Kristryd has worked very hard to control her curse. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kristryd fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
