History: Kristryd was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She comes from a rich western family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Veit grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Veit. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
