History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kerkad grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kerkad grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kerkad. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Alberich was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
